How long does an online refill actually take?
Honestly, if it's a medication you get regularly from us, we usually have it bagged up and ready in about 15 to 30 minutes. If your doctor just called in something brand new, give us a little extra time to run it through your insurance and make sure it plays nice with your other meds. We always shoot you a text the minute it’s ready.
My bottle says I have zero refills left. Can I still request it onlin
Yes, please do! Go ahead and put the request through. Our computer system will flag it, and we’ll immediately call your doctor's office to get a new prescription authorized for you.
How hard is it to switch my prescriptions over to you guys?
It's actually zero work for you. Just fill out our quick online transfer form with your name, birth date, and where you currently get your meds. We get on the phone, pull your files over, and move your remaining refills to our system.
Can you transfer every kind of medication?
Most of them, yes. But the law gets pretty strict with certain controlled substances, like strong pain meds or ADHD treatments. We can't transfer those back and forth between pharmacies.
Why does the pharmacy always reject my health insurance card?
We see this every single day! A lot of folks hand us their regular medical card, but pharmacies run on a totally different billing system. We need your specific prescription card. Check the front or back of the card you have, if you don't see the letters "RxBIN" and "RxPCN", our computers simply won't know what to do with it.
Do I need to get a prescription from my doctor before I get a vaccine?
Nope. For almost all the standard ones, like the flu shot, COVID boosters, Shingles, or Tdap, you can skip the doctor's office entirely. Our pharmacists are fully licensed to evaluate you and give the shot right here in the consultation room. We even log it directly into the state registry for you.
How do I safely throw away old or expired pills?
Please don't flush them or toss them in the kitchen trash! It’s really bad for the local water supply. You can just swing by and dump your old tablets or capsules with us, no questions asked, and we make sure they are destroyed safely and legally.
Can I take over-the-counter vitamins with my prescription meds?
That really depends on what you're taking. People think vitamins are always harmless, but things like calcium can actually stop certain antibiotics from working, and Vitamin K messes with blood thinners. Next time you're in, just grab the pharmacist and show them what you want to buy. We'll run a quick check for you to make sure it's 100% safe to mix.
